Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

We’re Techbar — a tech services company led by seasoned delivery professionals and engineers.

We help startups, product companies, and digital businesses build and scale software teams through staff augmentation, dedicated squads, and full-cycle product delivery.

Now we’re looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join cross-functional teams and build scalable, modern web platforms for global clients. You will work on distributed backend systems and modern frontend applications serving international products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Spring ecosystem or Kotlin-based frameworks
  • Build modern frontend applications using React or Angular
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure reliable deployment and scalability
  • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
  • Optimize application performance and scalability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Collaborate with distributed product and engineering teams 

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) or Kotlin for backend development
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures
  • Good English communication skills
  • Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
  • Experience with automated testing and performance optimization 

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • GenAI API exposure
